Meet Fritz

How I work with you:

My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and full of humor, creativity, and play—because I believe those are key ingredients for real change! I specialize in trauma, neruodiversity, and gender-affirming care, and draw upon my lived experience to form genuine relationships with clients.

As a drama therapist (ask me about drama therapy!), I utilize a range of embodied techniques to help you reclaim your narrative, explore different aspects of yourself, and radically embrace each unfolding moment. Through self-expression and ritual, we can uncover deeper meaning and hone the skills we need to improve our lives.

I work with pre-teens, teens and adults, as well as with families. I have a passion for supporting neurodivergent clients—including folks with autism, ADHD/ADH, giftedness (and ex-giftedness), high sensitivity, BPD, and complex PTSD. I also connect deeply with those on the path to recovery from abuse, self-harm, burnout, and systemic injustice.

I am skilled in working with high levels of dissociation in a non-pathologizing way.

You can expect an irreverent and humorous approach to therapy with me.

I belong to many communities, and identify as neurodivergent, queer, and nonbinary.

I am located in Pacifica, CA. I offer walk and talk therapy here, and provide telehealth services to anyone who resides in California.

My Education and Experience:

Before going into private practice, I worked as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, focusing the treatment of PTSD and co-occurring mental health conditions. I have experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, and 12-Step Methodologies.

I also worked as a play therapist and psychometrician, helping to provide Autism and ADHD assessments for children, teens, and adults. I have a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, with a concentration in Drama Therapy.

As an undergraduate, I double majored in Theater & Performance Studies and History at Stanford University, and have a background in playwriting, directing, and community organizing.
